The Kenya Churches United Easter Bible Conference

“Let’s Return To The Bible”

The Kenya churches United Easter Bible Conference was organized by the Christian fraternity in Kenya and was held as a non-denominational conference from 26th to 28th March. It was the first of its kind in Kenya.

Overseas volunteers from Good news Corps program participated in the organization and preparation of the event with a joyful and united heart.

University of Nairobi (UoN) and Kenyatta University (KU) students were not left out and their expression showed how they were lifted to new heights and “the sky was the limit” to them. Although they had sessions in school but the students made time to attend the Kenya Churches United Easter Bible Conference.

The Guest speaker from south Korea Reverend Cho Sang Rae delivered the gospel of eternal redemption to the participants for three days. Joseph’s Cloak is the reason judgment did not come to Potiphar’s wife. In the same way Jesus took our sins upon Himself and exchanged our condemnation with justification. Rev. Cho shared this and many other stories from the scripture that showed how Jesus was the propitiation for our sins forever making us Holy, righteous and perfect.

The KCU conference also held the Christian Leaders Fellowship (CLF) meeting for Christian leaders and the clergy. About 80 Christian leaders from across the country participated.

Rev. Bruce Kim of Good News Mission Kenya was the Emcee at the event and testified how through the CLF meeting held in New York, this year, hundreds of Christian leaders converged to unite their heart for the work of the gospel.

The participants shared meals together as they fellowshipped the word of God that they heard from the main speaker.

The expression of their thankful heart was felt during the praising sessions. The smiles on their faces said it all.

When it came to the time of lectures by Rev. Cho, the participants listened carefully confirming each word from their individual Bibles. The theme of the event "Let's Return to The Bible" it was evident that all those present carried Bibles to verify each word spoken.

By the second session till the last day, the Taifa Hall was filled to capacity as many came to listen to the word of God.

Like different fruits have varying tastes, so also people have different tastes. When you taste the hearts of people you can easily come to accept and flow your heart with the people around you.
